When the spreadsheet no longer copes and off-the-shelf does not fit

There is a point where operations grow and both common answers fail: the spreadsheet becomes a tangle only one person understands, and off-the-shelf software forces the company to change its process to fit the tool. Custom software is for that moment — the software adapts to how you work, not the other way round.

  • Process mapping before any code
  • Integration with ERP, payments and spreadsheets
  • Module-by-module delivery, in use early
  • Role-based access control
  • Organised, documented code

Built from your actual process

Before writing code we map how the work happens today: who does what, where it stalls, what is rework and what is a business rule that cannot change. The system grows out of that map — which is why the team can use it without relearning their own job.

Integrated with what you already have

A new system that does not talk to anything else just becomes another island. We integrate with what already runs in the company — ERP, spreadsheets, payment providers, support tools — so information flows instead of being typed twice.

Delivered in parts, not all at once

A large project delivered only at the end is a project going wrong out of your sight. We work in stages: the first module goes into use while the next is being built. You see value early and correct course with the system actually running.

Ready to grow

Modern architecture, role-based access, change history and code organised so another developer can maintain it later. You are not stuck with us for lack of an alternative.

FAQ

How do I know I need custom software?
A good sign is a company keeping several spreadsheets that have to be reconciled by hand, or current software that forces workarounds for everyday tasks. If your process is common and a good off-the-shelf tool exists, we will say so — it is cheaper for you, and we do not sell what you do not need.
How long does it take?
It depends on scope, and for this kind of project the timeline is set during discovery — no honest number exists before understanding the process. What we usually do is agree a first module on a short timeline, put it into use, and go from there.
Where is the system hosted?
Wherever makes most sense for your case: we can handle the infrastructure, use the cloud your company already pays for, or install on your own server when there is a specific requirement.
What if I want to change supplier later?
Code ownership is agreed in the contract, and we set it out in the quote. Where the code is yours, we hand it over organised and with the documentation another team needs to take over. We would rather be kept on merit than through dependency.
